The services offered by Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. through Columbia Sportswear (hereafter referred to as the “website”) are subject to our Terms and Conditions of Use. The use of this website constitutes acceptance of all our terms and conditions without modification by the client (hereafter referred to as “you”). If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this website.

Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before you accept them. Your acceptance of these terms and conditions will be indicated when:

Terms and Conditions

All standard terms and conditions of Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. and the suppliers of the products advertised apply. All offers expire on specified dates unless otherwise stipulated and are only valid while stocks last. Promotional offers are generally valid while limited stocks last; some stores may sell out faster than others.

We reserve the right to limit the quantity of promotional items per customer. We furthermore reserve the right to refuse sales to any dealers or resellers, as we sell to end consumers only. The website’s pricing may differ from in-store pricing, and vouchers may not be able to be redeemed on website purchases.

While Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. takes the utmost care to ensure that all advertising is correct, if any mistakes occur or incomplete information is advertised, Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. undertakes to display a notice in-store and online with the correct information. Stock availability may vary by store.

All orders placed by you are subject to our acceptance. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. may elect to reject your order for any reason whatsoever and will not be liable to you or anyone else in such circumstances. If Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. elects not to accept your order, we will inform you as soon as possible via email or SMS.

Although Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. does at all times endeavour to ensure that we only display products that we have stock of and at the correct price, errors may occur. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your order, inform you by email, and refund any monies that may have been received.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgement of your order from Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. This does not constitute Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd.’s acceptance thereof. An agreement of sale shall only be binding on Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. once we have authorised your payment and/or received the monies in our bank account. An early reservation (one placed on this website before an actual price is known) does not constitute a sale.

Who we sell to

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. sells products only to adults. If you are under 18, you may use our site and make a purchase only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Columbia reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

Pricing and product availability

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. and its suppliers continually upgrade and revise their product and service offerings to provide you with new products and services. Columbia may revise or discontinue products at any time without prior notice to customers, and products may become unavailable to customers even after an order is placed. All prices are subject to change without notice.

The pricing includes VAT at 15% but does not include delivery charges.

Pricing on this website may differ from that in our retail stores. The pricing in certain instances may be lower than in-store and is only valid on this website. All online pricing, promotions, and offers are applicable to this website only and are not valid in our stores unless stated otherwise.

In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is published on this website, Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any payment that may have been made to us. In instances of incorrect pricing, we will contact you to inform you of the price changes and to determine whether you wish to proceed. If we are unable to contact you, we will refund any money that may have been paid to us. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. will not be obliged to provide any products at the incorrect price.

All offers expire on specified dates unless otherwise stipulated and while stocks last.

Payment Methods

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. cannot accept your order until you have paid in full. Upon submitting your order, you confirm that the payment card that is being used is yours. We only accept cards issued in South Africa and may reject any international cards.

Payment to Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. can be made in any of the following ways:

Bank deposits and Electronic Fund Transfers

If you elect to pay via any one of these methods, you will be provided with our banking details. Payment must be made within forty-eight (48) hours; otherwise, your order will be cancelled. Please ensure that you provide your order number as a reference when depositing your payment. If the full payment is not affected, then no delivery will occur. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. does not accept cheque deposits. Please note that orders will only be confirmed after payments have cleared into our account.

Credit Card Payments

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. accepts Credit Card payments via MasterCard, American Express and VISA. We use Peach to process all credit card payments. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website or by Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. At the time of paying an order via the website, the transaction amount is presented to your card’s issuing bank for immediate authorisation. If your bank’s authorisation is not obtained, your order will be cancelled. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. will not be obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. is not liable for your card issuer charging you any fees as a result of us processing your credit or debit card. If, for any reason, we believe that the order may be fraudulent, Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any monies that may have been paid. Payment is only collected from your bank once Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. authorises the order. Your credit card must be set up for 3D-secured purchases. Kindly note that due to the way credit card payments and refunds are processed, partial refunds are not possible.

In-store collection for online orders

If you elect to collect your order from one of our stores, payment will be required to be made online upon placing your order. Please take your ID or driver’s licence along with you when collecting so that we can verify you are the person who paid us. You must wait for communication from us to collect your order; an email from Peach confirming your payment or from us confirming your order does not suffice.

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction currency is the South African Rand (ZAR).

Delivery

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. will only ship within the borders of South Africa and does not ship to postal addresses. All orders to the main centres are shipped via our courier service. Remote areas may be shipped using Speed Services and will need to be collected at your local post office. Delivery charges will be set out at the time of check-out and are valid only for deliveries within South Africa. We may reject your order if we find that an incorrect area code has been supplied, as shipping charges are based on these area codes.

We will endeavour to ship all available items, where reasonable, within 48 working hours. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped within 48 hours of the first working day thereafter. If we cannot ship your order within 7 days from the date of order, then we will cancel your order and refund any payment you may have made.

Returns & Exchange

We will gladly accept returns on any purchase made on our website that is in original condition—unworn with tags attached—and for footwear with the original box in new condition within 20 days of purchase.

You may return your purchases at any of our stores or contact us to arrange collection via our courier. Shipping and handling charges for delivery and return shipping will not be refunded.

Once we receive your package, our team will verify its contents and inspect it to ensure it is unworn and in original condition. We will then send the credit back to your financial institution within 7–10 business days.

Warranty

As you continue to seek out new adventures, your clothing and shoes will get exposed to elements like mud, sand, water, and gravel. Grass, snow, and salt can degrade your clothing and shoes. In order to protect your item and the unique technologies therein, please ensure you follow the wash instructions on your garment or visit “Product Care” for more information.

We cannot honour warranty claims on products where the wash instructions have not been followed.

If you believe your purchase is faulty, please contact us to arrange a return or return it to one of our stores within 6 months of purchase with the original proof of purchase. We guarantee all items sold by us to show reasonable wear and tear.

Repairs, returns, and credits will be sanctioned by the store manager in consultation with the customer and supplier.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order at any time prior to Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. shipping it to you. Any refunds will be effected within 10 working days of the cancellation of the order. Refunds will be affected in the same way the original payment was made.

If Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. has shipped an item to you and you wish to cancel the order, it will be subject to our returns and exchanges policy.

Any returns may be subject to a handling fee. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to access all returns and apply restocking fees at our sole discretion.

In the unfortunate event that we deliver a damaged or defective product to you, Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. will uplift and ship you a replacement product at our expense, provided it is reported within 48 hours of receipt.

All returns after 20 days will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranties and guarantees.

Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of goods on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.

All promotions, bundles, offers, and coupons are for use only on our website. Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. is not responsible for typographical errors, price variances, manufacturer omissions, or delays. Failure by Ulko Active Wear (Pty) Ltd. to enforce a right does not result in a waiver of such a right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms and conditions.

Domicilium If BT Games (Pty) Ltd has shipped an item to you and you wish to cancel the order it will be subject to our returns and exchanges policy.

Any returns may be subject to a handling fee. BT Games (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to access all returns and apply restocking fees at our sole discretion.

In the unfortunate occurrence that we deliver a damaged or defective product to you BT Games (Pty) Ltd will uplift and ship you a replacement product at our expense, provided it is reported within 48 hours of receipt.

BLACK FRIDAY SALE

Excluding sale items, discount codes cannot be combined with other offers, are limited to 10 items per customer, and remain valid from 20-28 November 2023. Discounts will be automatically applied at checkout, no other discount codes can be used in conjunction with Black Friday deals.
