Bought these last year for me and the same pair for the Mrs. Occasional weekend hikers. Can handle the casual stroll to the more technical terrain. Grip is good. They feel and look solid. Not as bulky as some other brands. Ankle support is there but not amazing. Get half a size up with solid wool socks and you won’t get blisters. Can take beating and still look presentable. Not heavy on the feet. Service was good after ordering online. The soles and sides are showing wear and tear but that is to be expected. A great beginner and intermediate hiking shoe according to the net and I would agree. Much better quality and value compared to the same pricing for some other brands. They also look much better than other types and can be worn if you are a tradesman. A solid purchase and product.
